LIFE AS A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT
In Central America
Life was simple enough without all the distractions it has to offer today; with that said, school-life sucked and I was tired of doing homework...Even though I lived a few meters away...this didn't deter me from ditching school or worse.
(I could see where Mr. Cardinez's parked his Blue Ford Bronco from my front door porch.)
A bit nerdy, but antagonistic enough, I wasn't picked on nor trolled. I knew everyone, well... the ones who wanted to be known and/or were sociable. Wasn't quite sure what life had in store for me, but I was sure of two things at the time of graduation.
One, I didn't want to do any more freaking homework... at least for awhile.
Two, I was tired of insufficient funds... it affected one's social status.
With my diploma, I entered the workforce...
(Another complicated story... due to my naturalization status.)
I immediately figured that I would have to go abroad to procure capital if I wanted to live and/or maintain a lifestyle worth anything.
So, I left to join the U.S. Army,
But little did i know...
